Welcome to Sigmity! These Terms of Service govern your use of our audio and video transcription service. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Service Provider

About the Service

Sigmity is an online service for automatic transcription of audio and video recordings using artificial intelligence. We offer speaker identification, export to various formats, and an intuitive interface for editing transcriptions.

User Account

Registration is required to use paid features. You are responsible for the security of your account and password. One account may only be used by one person. Please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Credits and Payments

The service operates on a prepaid credit (minutes) system:

• Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase

• New users receive 60 minutes free

Payments are processed through the secure Stripe payment system. Prices include VAT where applicable.

Refunds

Automatic refunds: If processing fails due to technical issues on our side, credits will be automatically refunded.

On request: If you are not satisfied with the transcription quality, contact us within 14 days of purchasing credits. We will assess each request individually and refund in justified cases.

Recording Content

You are fully responsible for the content of files you upload.

It is prohibited to upload content that:

• infringes copyrights or rights of third parties

• contains illegal content

• violates the privacy of others without their consent

Retention period: Recordings and transcriptions are automatically deleted 30 days after upload.

Service Availability

We strive for continuous service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We reserve the right to scheduled maintenance downtime for improvements. We will notify you in advance of planned maintenance.

Limitation of Liability

• • The service is provided "as is". Transcriptions generated by artificial intelligence may contain inaccuracies.

• • We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and recommend reviewing important transcriptions.

• • Maximum compensation is limited to the amount you have paid for the service.

• • We are not liable for damages resulting from transcription inaccuracies or service unavailability.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Czech law. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent Czech courts.
